Sports massage therapy is a specialised treatment designed to improve performance, support recovery, and maintain overall muscle health. It focuses on the areas of the body most affected by physical activity, helping to release tension, increase flexibility, and boost circulation.

Ideal for athletes of all levels — or anyone experiencing muscle discomfort from daily movement — sports massage helps prevent injury, ease soreness, and promote faster recovery.

With over 17 years of experience, our therapist tailors each session to your specific needs, drawing on techniques such as Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Soft Tissue Release, and Muscle Energy Techniques (MET). Whether you’re training hard or simply need relief from everyday strain, this treatment will leave your body feeling balanced, mobile, and refreshed.

Deep Tissue Massage Therapy

Deep Tissue Massage offers targeted relief for deep muscle tension and fascial restrictions caused by stress, poor posture, or overuse. This focused treatment improves circulation, reduces inflammation, and restores mobility by addressing the underlying layers of muscle and connective tissue.

Restorative Massage Therapy

Relax, Release, Reconnect

This session combines gentle yet effective techniques to ease muscle tension and bring you back into balance. Whether you seek deep relaxation or targeted relief, each treatment is tailored to your body’s needs.

Grounded in the mind–body connection, one-off and regular sessions help calm the nervous system, improve sleep, and support emotional well-being.

Holistic Deep Tissue Massage Therapy

This treatment blends targeted deep-tissue techniques with a holistic approach to help you find balance, ease tension, and relieve muscle soreness. We’ll focus on your areas of tightness, assess posture, and explore simple lifestyle or movement adjustments to support long-term relief. If appropriate, we can also discuss whether seeing a specialist may help address underlying causes.

Stretch therapy is about more than flexibility. It helps the body release what it has been holding often for far too long. Through supported movement and fascia-informed touch, this work creates space in both the body and the nervous system in ways that self-stretching rarely reaches.

In each session, the client lies fully supported while Noémie gently guides the body through slow, responsive stretches that meet it exactly where it is. The rhythm is mindful, the touch is informed, and every session is tailored to what the body needs in that moment.

While trained in the Be.Stretch® method, Noémie also weaves in breath-led movement, fascia release, and massage techniques to support deep, lasting release without force.

People often come to this work when they feel disconnected from their bodies — tight, fatigued, or overstimulated. Some are recovering from intense training or preparing for a race. Others are simply looking for calm and clarity in an overactive nervous system. Whatever the reason, this practice offers a reset. It helps bring the body back to a state of balance, flow, and ease.

What clients often feel after a session:
• Lightness and space in the back, neck, hips, and joints
• A calmer, more regulated nervous system
• Deeper, more effortless breathing
• A sense of clarity, grounding, and reconnection

Head, Neck, and Face Massage

A 45-minute session for screen fatigue, jaw tension, and calming the nervous system. Facial sculpting, gentle neck work, and massage to restore space and softness.

Developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, it was originally called Contrology and is based on five key principles: breathing, concentration, centering, precision, and flowing movement.

In addition to mat-based Pilates, Joseph Pilates designed specialized equipment to support and challenge the body using spring resistance. One of the most popular pieces of equipment today is the Pilates Reformer.

Who is Pilates for? Pilates is suitable for all fitness levels, from complete beginners to experienced athletes. It has been shown to improve strength, flexibility, stamina, and mind-body connection, making it an excellent choice for those recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or looking to enhance their overall fitness.

Yoga is a mind-body practice that combines physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation. It offers a holistic way to improve mobility and strength whilst building ease in the body and mind.

Improved Mobility and Flexibility: Yoga’s postures help improve joint and muscle flexibility, reduce stiffness, and promote better movement.

Strengthening Muscles: Many yoga poses help strengthen core muscles and improve posture. This reduces the strain on joints, providing structural support and minimising discomfort.

Stress Reduction: Yoga’s calming effect on the nervous system through breath work and mindfulness, helps reduce the body’s stress response, lowering cortisol levels and promoting relaxation.

Endorphin Release: Practicing yoga can trigger the release of endorphins—our natural feel-good and pain-relieving chemicals in the body. This can improve mood and reduce pain perception.

Body Awareness: Yoga promotes mindfulness and body awareness, helping individuals tune into their bodies, recognise pain triggers, and adjust movements or postures to reduce discomfort.

“Fogo Sagrado” or Sacred Fire Energetic Alignment Therapy is based on the Shamanic beliefs of the Brazilian Indigenous tribes and can enable you to access some of the hidden psychological and emotional states that are carried within your subconscious, which can also be connected to your ancestors, beyond your immediate family.

By using a “sixth sense”, I give voice to what has not been seen or said. I connect to your energy field and I will describe through symbols, sensations and images underlying issues in your life at the present moment that you would like to address. This may include difficulties in relationships, social life, health, family environment, work, and other aspects of life.

This is a gentle and non-invasive type of work. I will connect to your energy field and, through symbols, sensations, and images, access an energetic body that your higher self has brought forth to be worked on. I will help make you aware of your unconscious patterns of behaviour and beliefs so that you can relate it to the issue that you need help with.

**Massage Therapist   Personal Trainer   Founder**

Hi, I’m Simona. I started Abuelita’s Wellbeing during lockdown - what began as a way to stay motivated in uncertain times soon grew into something much bigger.

I’m a Massage Therapist, a Level 3 Personal Trainer, and a Social Entrepreneur. My path into this work began with my own struggles with mental & physical health. I started gifting myself regular massages, and those sessions helped me reconnect with my body and feel more present. That experience sparked my curiosity about the mind-body connection and inspired me to train as a therapist. And recently, as a Personal Trainer.

I combine my professional training with an intuitive approach, drawing from my love of Anatomy and Physiology, the Bodynamic system, and somatic practices.

Along the way, I also realized that massage was just one part of the puzzle. It helped me begin the journey, but I needed other therapies to go deeper and meet different layers of what I was carrying—physically, emotionally, and mentally. That insight shaped the evolution of Abuelita’s Wellbeing.

What began as a massage-focused studio gradually became a space for integrated and holistic care. Over time, I invited a team of skilled practitioners to join me—each offering their own area of expertise, from craniosacral therapy and physiotherapy to acupuncture, nutritional therapy, and more. Together, we support the body as a whole, honoring its complexity and its wisdom.

My space is grounded in kindness, non-judgment, inclusivity, and confidentiality. I truly believe that when we feel safe and supported, meaningful change becomes possible.

My Mission Through Abuelita’s Wellbeing CIC, I’m committed to making holistic care more accessible, especially for those facing mental health challenges or economic and social disadvantage. Everyone deserves consistent support, not just in crisis.

Hi, I’m Livia — a Nutritional Therapist with a special interest in women’s health, chronic fatigue, gut health, and long-term wellbeing.

My approach is holistic and personalised. I look beyond symptoms to understand the deeper patterns influencing health, combining nutrition, lifestyle strategies, and functional testing where appropriate to create clear, achievable plans that meet clients exactly where they are.

I work with both men and women, supporting a wide range of health concerns.

My particular areas of interest include:

Women’s health Blood sugar and metabolic health Low-energy states Digestive health Cardiovascular and liver health

My work is shaped not only by clinical training, but by lived experience. After more than 16 years in the fast-paced world of healthcare, combined with significant personal stressors, my own health began to suffer. Juggling high-pressure roles, long hours, and life’s wider demands led to burnout, chronic fatigue, and digestive issues. Despite multiple GP visits and being told my tests were “normal,” I knew something deeper was being missed.

That experience changed everything. I realised my symptoms weren’t random — they were deeply connected to chronic stress, impaired digestion, nutrient depletion, and nervous-system overload. I retrained in Nutritional Therapy to understand why my body was struggling, not just how to silence it.

With the right support, my energy returned, my digestion settled, and I learned how to support my body through stress rather than pushing through it. That journey is what now informs how I work with clients — with empathy, curiosity, and respect for the body’s signals.

I believe nutritional therapy is most powerful when it supports the whole person — their lifestyle, emotional wellbeing, and the realities of everyday life. Health-coaching principles are woven throughout my work to help clients connect with their deeper “why”, build sustainable habits, and feel confident in the changes they’re making.

My aim is simple: to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered as you move towards lasting health and balance.

BWYQ L4 Certificate in Teaching Yoga

Hi, I’m Jen, a yoga teacher, artist, and strategist. Each week, my life straddles corporate work alongside creative practices, volunteering, and teaching, so finding a sense of balance and grounding within that is crucial. I’ve been practicing yoga since I was a teenager - and whilst my approach has changed over the years (change is the only constant!) - it has always offered me the space to be myself. I trained as a yoga teacher over two years, from 2016-17, and since then have been continually learning - from those in my classes, from those in the classes and courses I attend, and from the world around me.

My expertise: With a foundation in Hatha yoga (balancing the active and passive energies in the body), I have trained in yogic practices that support burnout and fatigue conditions. These states, intrinsically linked via the nervous and immune systems, can become disordered from stress, trauma, and the high expectations of modern living. Yoga offers us a lifeline.

My approach: In every group yoga class or one-to-one session, I aim to create a compassionate and playful space that is yours to explore. Inspired by seasonal changes, each practice offers breathwork and movement practices that invite you to be curious, to slow down, and to reconnect.

My interests: I love colour - in art, in clothes, in nature - seeing it makes me feel alive. As does going to new places, near or far: it’s a way of experiencing the world afresh. I’ve been an avid reader my whole life, and I read a lot of different things as a way to relax, to explore, to learn, to reflect, to be inspired.
